Nightcrawlers — One Dozen
Rural Myth Co. | Field & Folklore
Creekside sells nightcrawlers by the dozen.
Just not that kind.
Nightcrawlers — One Dozen is a funny fishing and cryptid shirt inspired by the cheerful packaging once found in small-town bait shops, where fishing worms came in little tubs and nobody asked too many questions about what wandered through the woods after dark.
At the center of this vintage-style label, a happy little earthworm waves from his mound of dirt.
Behind him, something considerably larger is taking a stroll.
Two impossibly tall, pale legs stride across the countryside, stepping over pine trees and cattails.
No torso.
No arms.
No explanation.
The label reads:
CREEKSIDE BAIT & TACKLE
NIGHTCRAWLERS
1 DOZEN · KEEP COOL
And, because apparently somebody needed clarification:
WE DON’T SELL THE BIG ONES.
Rendered in Rust Red, Pine Black, and Bone, this original design combines nostalgic 1950s bait-shop packaging with the wonderfully strange world of cryptid folklore.
