Windmill No. 3 — South Pasture
Rural Myth Co. | Field & Folklore
Out in the south pasture, the windmill keeps turning.
The stock tank stays full.
And the goat count keeps changing.
Our Windmill No. 3 Chupacabra ranch shirt captures a moonlit ranch scene in the brush country of the American Southwest, where a tall steel windmill stands beside a livestock tank under an enormous full moon.
Nearby, two goats huddle together inside a wooden pen.
A lantern glows on the fence.
And perched on the rim of the stock tank is something that definitely wasn’t included in the livestock inventory.
Thin limbs.
A hunched back.
A row of spines.
A long tail.
Whatever it is, it’s watching the goats.
The ranch sign identifies the location:
SOUTH PASTURE · WINDMILL No. 3
And provides one very sensible instruction:
CHECK THE GOATS TWICE.
Inspired by Chupacabra folklore and the everyday realities of ranch chores, this original design combines vintage agricultural engraving with a distinctly inconvenient livestock problem.
Rendered in Pine Black, Tobacco Brown, Rust Red, and Bone, the artwork features a traditional ranch windmill, moonlit brush country, and one unwelcome visitor at the water tank.
Part of the Field & Folklore Collection from Rural Myth Co.
